Shidrah, the spine and backbone of a space

Singular spaces,
built by one hand.

The Sculpted Restaurant

Negev, Israel · Hand-built concrete & carved stone · Wood-bending

A luxury dining room where the walls are not clad; they are carved. Every surface is made by hand: sculpted concrete, bent wood, stone worked into a single continuous atmosphere. Nothing here is bought off a shelf.

Concrete, stone, and wood, worked entirely by hand into one space.

The World-Record Mural

Guinness World Record · 2,038 m² · Spray-painted by a single artist

Before the studio built rooms, it painted at the scale of buildings. Avi Tal holds the Guinness World Record for the largest spray-painted mural by a single artist: 2,038 square metres by one hand. Large-scale murals and painted facades remain part of the studio's practice, in Israel and internationally.

The Hand Behind the Studio

Shidrah is led by Avi Tal.

Known in the art world as Spine B7, he has spent nearly two decades where fine art, architecture, and raw material meet. The street taught him scale; an engineering training taught him how to make it stand.

That is why a Shidrah space is not decorated. It is built as a single work of art the size of a building: sculpted, structural, and made to last.

He set the Guinness World Record for the largest spray-painted mural by a single artist: 2,038 m².
